Great monitor, grabbed one a few weeks ago. A few tips though

1. Freesynce is disabled by default so make sure you enable it

2. You can't use freesynce and the 1ms motion reduction at the same time but I would reccommed freesynce over the other

3. I would reccommed using the "fast" response time mode over the "faster". As the faster seems to add a bit to much overshoot

4. I found that setting the user color control to Red:50 Green:43 and Blue:34 with a brightness of 61 gave me the best results but each unit might be a little different

If you play FPS and worry that 32 is too big you can configure in graphic card driver and set it to be 21:9 at 2560x1080, to only use part of the screen to avoid dizziness. While in the same time you will enjoy the extra real estate when doing productivity work

Payboo card... they actually chose that name or did their toddler pick it?

I think this is the same monitor I picked up from costco for about $330 after tax. I really dig it. Probably the best monitor I've had. Might go 4K next but as a primary monitor for gaming it's a great mix of resolution / quality

Normal price for a while atleast at microcenter. The costco deal for the 850 model needs to come back up.

Also the gsync version is 399-$50 with student email at Microcenter too, if you're picky about your variable refresh rate vendor.

I called in to see if I can get the sale price $299 when it was NOT on sale. They gave me an additional $15 discount on the top of $299 so I got this monitor for $285 shipped. But yes, they started charging CA tax in April 2019.
