Just received a price alert that an authorized dealer via Greentoe is accepting offers for $2499 on the LG E9PUA 65" Class HDR UHD Smart OLED TV (2019) [greentoe.com]. I'm no longer in the market for a 65" OLED since I took advantage of the C9 deal from Greentoe so I thought I'd share the lowest price ever on an E9.

Note, this TV is sold and shipped by an authorized LG dealer and is eligible for full manufacturer warranty.

Steps
  1. Visit the offer page here [greentoe.com]
  2. Enter your offer of $2499 into the "Enter Your Price" box and hit continue
  3. Fill out your information, your card will not be charged until your offer is accepted
  4. Note: Payment information is not required to submit your first offer on Greentoe, payment will be required within 24-hours of your offer being accepted.
Your total should be $2499 with free shipping once your offer is accepted. You may receive a counter offer if the authorized dealer charges sales tax in your state.

Please be careful when ordering from GreenToe.

I ordered a 65C8 around late April and my unit arrived broken. The TV shipped in its own box with no extra padding. I'm not saying this was GreenToe's fault but please ensure that they relay to retailer to put extra padding on your TV when they ship it.

My unit shipped from Ohio to Southern California which took two weeks. The worst part was communicating with Greentoe and the retailer who were both ridiculously unresponsive when I began the replacement process. I originally wanted it replaced but opted for a refund due to their unprofessionalism- I literally sent a message to the co-founder on LinkedIn and threatened to do a chargeback because nobody was responding to me. After, they once took up to a week to respond to one email. This slow exchange went on until the unit finally got picked up two weeks later.

Wait there's more!

I waited another two weeks until I contacted them again because I know it can take a while to get shipped back. Two weeks later, no refund or communication at all. SURPRISE! This cat and mouse game of trying to get them to respond to me went on for another few weeks or so but I remained patient- I knew that things can just fall through the cracks and shit so I wasn't trippin' that much.

Apparently the unit was at the courier's warehouse just chillin' like a little villain- I mean, wtf man? Why didn't it get delivered directly back to y'all? C'mon bruvs, not cool at all. Then it took another two weeks for them to receive the unit (not the retailer's fault- I'm not blaming them but it was getting really ridiculous at this point). They also couldn't refund me until they receive the unit because they wanted to check it first and make sure I wasn't scamming them.

Anyway fast forward- I didn't receive my refund until the first week of July, almost two and a half months from the day I bought the TV.

Overall, I'm not mad at GreenToe or the retailer for giving me a broken TV, it wasn't their fault but I felt like it could have been prevented with extra padding. What they could've done better was not take up to a week or so to respond to my emails- this is not r/tinder homiesss; get your shite together. Well, that's all I have. Thanks for coming to my TED TALK.

anyone can talk about the differences of C9 and E9, in terms of function and picture quality? If these are same, I would continue to wait best price of C9 (currently i believe is $2099)

The picture quality should be the same as the C9 but the E9 has an integrated sound bar and all glass design.

E9 = C9+built in soundbar. You have to guage if the built in soundbar is worth 400$ or can you find a better one at that price range

I am confident the $$ saved with the recent C9 deal put into a Nakamichi 7.2 will not disappoint. I need to sleep at night!

E9 is better for viewing because of the glass, to me it doesn't have that much of a glare as plastic panels.

Good deal, but I actually prefer the look of the c9. I'd rather have the uniform border than the speaker on the bottom

Yeah, same here. It makes it look like the bottom bezel is super thick. It's too bad they don't make a picture on glass model without a soundbar.
