The offer link seems to indicate that the Hobby shops are all located in Canada. Is it the same for the Walmart and Target offers?

The first page in the OP's list seems to all be Canada. Scroll down and you will see the US shops. There are 7 pages.

I've still got my early 90's baseball cards in a massive box, just waiting for them to go up 20,000x in value so I can retire. Any... day... now...

Hey, I sold my comics collection for a house

Sure, it was a dollhouse, but it was a very nice house

1989 called and it wants its hobby back!

Sorry, couldn't resist. Hopefully everyone's card collection value goes up in the future.

lol nope. unless everyone starts trashing their collections it will never happen. there are thousands upon thousands of every card from that era. same goes for those worthless comic books. maybe in a hundred years you may be able to break even though. maybe

The industry killed itself by artificially inflating the worth of the cards. When they priced kids out of the hobby, it became unsustainable. You need the youth to carry a hobby, and selling packs for $5 was a mistake. Too many cards worth nothing and a few cards worth too much. The speculation of collectibles was also the start of a gradual decline. RIP sports cards...
