Heads up, everyone; DuckTales: Remastered is leaving digital storefronts in a duck-blur, and will no longer be available for purchase beginning August 8th, 2019. If you've already purchased it in the past or if you buy it before the dates and times below, you'll still be able to access and play the game.

Pogo jump your way into Scrooge's Money Bin while you can! DuckTales: Remastered is getting a farewell price drop for 75% off on most platforms before it gets removed for purchase.

The game will be digitally available on the following platforms until:
  • Wii U – August 9, 4:59 PM PDT
  • PlayStation 3 – August 9, 8AM PDT
  • Xbox 360, Xbox One (via Backwards Compatibility) – August 8, 5 PM PDT
  • Steam (PC) – 4:59 PM PDT
Disc-based versions of the game will install and play normally, and if you've already bought the game digitally, you'll still be able to re-download it even after it's removed, too. The times above are approximate, so please don't wait until the last minute if you want to purchase the game digitally while it's still available. So, get out there and solve a mystery, or re-write history!
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Don't think that's correct.

Oh but this is Slickdeals, where a $2 price difference can mean the difference between front page and obscurity! And no, I'm not kidding!

But digital is the future, why is it getting delisted? lol

Platform(s): PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Windows, iOS, Android, Windows Phone

It was never released on PS4 or Switch. Game was released on August 13, 2013, neither the PS4 nor the Switch were on the market at that time. Technically this wasn't released for X1, either.

Highly recommended. Picked it up for $10 on Steam not long after it came out and didn't regret it. Definitely worth $4!

Thanks for the reminder. I got it earlier this year for $1.64 from HB, and of course I haven't played it yet (too many better games to play and movies to watch first). I wonder what the reason for the delisting is this time. I was bummed when Telltale Games went under before I could ever find an acceptable price on the 2nd season of Batman or Minecraft Story Mode. Even though I heard about the delisting on all platforms a couple days before, I couldn't bring myself to pay $15 for them when I got most of my other Telltale Games for $1-$5 each, especially when I still haven't played most of my prior Telltale Games (only BTTF and Walking Dead S1-S2). At least Walking Dead S3-S4 were available on Epic for $5.

Anyway, any heads up about delistings is a good thing to know. Currently we can still redownload delisted games, but I wonder how long until companies stop hosting delisted games so we can't download them. I downloaded all of my Telltale Games on various computers and consoles because so little info was given if they would still be redownloadable. That took me almost an entire Saturday. Stinkin' delistings! Every delisting reminds me how fragile "digital ownership" is which should be renamed to "long term digital rental" and reminds me why I won't pay a lot for most games or movies knowing they could be taken away someday before I ever play or watch them.

Did I miss something? I know Telltale went under, but both season of Batman are still available on the PlayStation Store.

Might be a dumb question, but idk too much about my Xbox one. Can I buy this now on Microsoft's website and download it later? Or do you have to purchase and download at the same time from your Xbox?

Buy now, download later. As long as you are signed into the account you want it on.

Licensing issues, just like GTA: San Andreas had some of it's music removed (unless you own the old disc version still) and Alan Wake got pulled (and now it's back) and Deadpool (which keeps coming and going, but at the moment is gone). So, if this is the future, get used to it.

I got in on that price mistake, too (despite some idiots denying it was a price mistake) it's never been that low since and now that it's being delisted, it will never be that low again. I've heard it's an expiring license with Disney, it's been 6 years.

And I agree with you, I rarely pay more than $5 for any game now and I definitely shy away from digital movies and TV shows, just look what happened with UltraViolet! And recently I was looking at my buddy's Steam library, I got in on a freebie for X-Com (the old one) that Humble gave away quite awhile back, it's magically vanished from his Steam library with no warning, rhyme or reason! Good thing it was free, I suppose.

Edit: the Disney Afternoon collection is NOT being delisted, for those wondering.

Not in this case. You HAVE to download it by 8/8 otherwise you'll waste your money.
