Thanks. Was just in the checkout for a xr jigsaw brushless for 124 on Amazon. Added this and some sand paper then not some jigsaw blades.

Then figured what the hell might as well get that 4ah battery too, unfortunately the 53 dollar one said it would ship in a month or two, so I bought a different one for 10 more dollars.

lost of people already own a cordless screwdriver with battery and charger, so I only needed this tool. I use it to wax and polish my car since I don't have a garage or outlet outside. I bought it for $20 more so it is a pretty good price now

What do you use for pads for waxing & polishing the car?

I was going to buy a buffer but if I can use this tool for waxing then it will be great.

Got one of the Lowe's $20 off $100 coupons off eBay and price matched at Lowe's. Bought a bag of chips to go over the $100 threshold and end price was $87 for this and a snack 🤷🏼 ♂️

This thing advertises 8,000 opm to 12,000. The DeWalt polisher actually designed for cars is less than 3,600 RPM (slight different but for scale) That doesn't sound beginner friendly if you like your paint.

Edit: my Griot's garage polisher maxes out at 6800 opms. Again bad idea.

I used 7" pads from amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G7WJD37/ , I used the finest pads from the set.
Just a reminder, the car must be washed and clayed before waxing, for best results.
I'm not a pro, but loved the result.

Edit: forgot to mention, I was using "MEGUIAR'S G18216 Ultimate Liquid Wax" for that, if that helps

This is a terrible idea. You want a RANDOM orbital for your car. This thing will ruin your paint if you aren't careful.

Can anyone compare this to my Bosch ROS20VS? Seems pointless to get a cordless sander if you hook a vacuum up to the dust port but I frequently use it with just the built in collector for quick jobs.

It was amazon warehouse. Someone asked and tried to get link but the one I bought must have been the only one they had.
