I wonder how this stacks up against the benq 240hz in terms of input lag.

Edit: According to one reviewer input lag is 12ms while BenQ is at 13ms so it seems like you can't go wrong with this monitor. Also has a 2yr warranty and while I am not sure about BenQ their customer service is not the best.

Only Displayport, I don't believe hdmi can currently run at 240hz...

Both. One of the hdmi port is 2.0, which is capable of 240hz. And display port is also capable.

As someone that's owned Alienware's 240 Hz and Acer's 240 Hz I can safely say there is a huge difference in 240 Hz but it must be felt over time -- imo!

60 Hz to 144 Hz is beyond monumental. It is the greatest change you'll ever feel in PC gaming. No new mouse, mouse feet, mouse grips, Japanese artisan mouse pads, mechanical keyboard switch, GPU upgrade or SSD load time will ever compare to the jump from 60 Hz to 144 Hz. So if you've been playing on 144 Hz for awhile and jump to 240 Hz, you won't feel that immense improvement. But I promise you it is noticeable and very much so.

For some shooter perspective, I'm currently 4.3k to Top 500 to Top 300 on Overwatch and have been for a few seasons. I used to play League of Legends and CSGO and never expected this game to become my main but here we are. I'm also very close to Apex Predator in Apex Legends but I don't think rank matters as much in that game.

ANYWAYS, I played on a 240 Hz for a few months and I visited my friends from college that live in another city. I used a 144 Hz monitor and I actually thought I was massively dropping games, I thought maybe I had packet loss or ping issues - but nope, it was the difference in 240 Hz to 144 Hz. Once you become accustomed to 240 Hz, you easily notice the difference but it happens over time. If you go just get this baby in the mail and think it'll feel like you're plugging into the Matrix the first time you use it, you might be mistaken.

I also really love and vouch for Pixio monitors but unless they offer better warranty than Dell/Alienware (which I don't know for sure but I highly doubt) or they can be cheaper and have better brand power than Acer, I think this is priced way too high.
