I'd be very careful buying these.

Arsenic and lead found in this protein and ranked as one of the worst protein product on the market by Consumer Reports, and Clean Label Project.

That is for the Vanilla flavor, but they did not test this flavor. They did test unflavored version of Isopure and it scored 5 stars. It's reasonable to be concerned, but no evidence is given that this particular flavor is 'one of the worst.'

There's also a lot of questioning on the validity of the study at all since the testing process is not revealed and much of the information is vague in nature.

That's actually incorrect, many protein powders have sugars and other added carbs. Either way, it's not like the term is false, so not sure why you are pointing that out.

FYI anything that causes an insulin spike kicks you out of ketosis. Even though artificial sweeteners have zero carbs, most illicit an insulin response. Be careful!

Granted, it's not going to kill you lol but if you want to be super strict about it and do it right, stick to stevia, erithrol, and monk fruit sweeteners

Reviews for the taste of Alpine Punch are pretty bad. While this is great deal for Isopure, I don't need any more tub of protein that tastes so bad it's undrinkable. Thumbs up for OP though for a solid deal on protein and for a quality brand.

1 Star for all of the tests done on the product line "Zero Carb" which is the one that is posted on this deal.

http://staging-cleanlabelproject....n-isolate/

The one that received 5 stars is a completely different product line.

So for the sake of interest would artificial sweeteners be as good as taking in carbs post workout if it makes the spike?

Take it with a grain of salt. A previous study of theirs was debunked. https://www.snopes.com/news/2017/...d-arsenic/
