PSA: Walmart.com will terminate your account if you return broken TVs they shipped

So over the past 2 weeks I have purchased the TCL 65" 4k 6 series. Both of them came in the mail busted. One I picked up from the local Walmart and the other was shipped to my house by FedEx. Both of these were taped with "Inspected by Best Buy" tape.

Last night I ordered another TV (3rd TV is the charm I was hoping) but then Walmart contacted me today saying my account was terminated due to too many returns on my account (there are only 2 orders on my account as this was a brand new account, I don't have any other Walmart.com accounts)

I went ahead and opened a BBB complaint but it seems that Walmart.com and literally Walmart itself has lost my business.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am highly disappointed and very upset about this!

I think Walmart uses a 3rd party company that tracks your returns with other retailers. You may have gotten flagged

You have no history with them and you return two TVs in a short period of time and you wonder why their system flagged you?

Just use a different email address and buy your TV elsewhere.

I don't understand why a Walmart purchased tv had best buy tape on it?

I agree it's silly but look at it from their side. You are a brand new account and have ordered and returned damaged 2 tvs and that's it. Your account has only cost them money so far. Easier to terminate the account.

Damn, how do they ship their tvs? I've made two major tv purchases in the last 10 yrs, one with Amazon and one with ABT. It was both shipped by CEVA I think. Dudes came, knocked on my door. They took it off their truck. Everything was professional and handled with care. And this is back when 52": is sweet spot for big size. How is Walmart shipping 65" tvs? Sounds scary.

I have pictures of the damaged TVs and they refuse to even accept the pictures of these damaged TVs. I also have pictures of both damaged boxes and they refuse to even look at them.

Shopping at walmart is a privilege, not a right. The last time I read the constitution, there was no mention of the right to shop at walmart.

If the box was obviously damaged at time of delivery you should have refused delivery. After having one fail you still didn't inspect the tv AT THE STORE before you accepted it?

That's not going to work. When a website bans you, they know what they are doing. They will ban your address, email, phone number, etc. For instance when Amazon bans you, you better get a new identity. lol
