Har, the idea of somebody attempting a marathon in any of these Fila shoes is pretty rich. But I quibble with your statement about not being able to get 100 miles running in them. I trained/jogged 4 miles three times a week in my first pair of Fila shoes for about 6 months before the soles wore down. That was in addition to occasional rotation into daily wearing. I'd estimate 400 miles altogether. I'm fairly slow, averaging 9:10 mile splits, so maybe that helps, dunno.
In addition to miles, weight and the way you walk/run is a factor. (how much scraping). I bought few sets of Fila from Costco and some of them lasted a week before teh sole came apart..
I just picked up the Memory Aspect 7 and they do feel more flimsy.than usual for cheap shoes... super wide and roomy as someone mentioned.

Fila shoes are junk. I bought these a few months back. Started falling apart after wearing for a few weeks. Asics are soooooo much better.
Funny, I have Fila shoes 3+ years old in great shape.

Mixed and matched and got two different styles for under $45 for wide sized shoes. Hard to beat this deal and returns to the store are simple if they don't fit.

I've owned a couple pairs of these Fila's from Kohls. They definitely don't last long if you're doing any sort of exercise/athletic activity. I got about 2 months out of the last pair. I was also just at Kohls a week ago and tried a few pairs on. They felt very cheap compared to the other shoes I was trying on.

Slick enough, thank you. My dad normally buys the cheapest possible Wal-Mart sneakers to wear at his cabin til they fall off. He was just bitching about how hard they are to find in 13/14, let alone wide width. These can't be worse!

Also bought him 3 of the hoodies on sale now, also a FP deal (https://slickdeals.net/f/13280509-kohl-s-cardholders-men-s-sonoma-goods-for-life-fleece-hoodie-5-60-free-shipping-this-is-not-a-v-neck-it-s-2-tone?src=SiteSearch). Side note: I already got one for hubby and these are super slick for <$6.

This brought my total just over $50 before tax... so, 3 hoodies + 2 sneakers (one picked up in store) + tax, paid $56.23 and also got $5 Kohl's cash for store pickup and $10 Kohl's cash for use starting 8/12.

My son wears them out very fast. Staying away from Fila.

168lbs, jog with a midfoot strike, slight overpronator, and am a fair-weather runner (last bit is important, as I've prematurely worn out even expensive sneakers in the past from running in the rain). For the last 12 years I've also immediately replaced the factory shoelaces with elastic laces in any pair of sneakers. That came about after my first triathlon, as I really liked how they worked/felt. Maybe that change helps Filas wear better..?

Oh also, my size 11 feet are on the narrow side and without much arch. I've heard before that Fila's wide shoes are comically wide!

Very nice price though... Don't forger another $5 off for pick up in store.... You will get the $5 kohls cash immediately after pick.
