This is an "ok" deal. Most reviewers have said that the 3600x isn't really any better than the 3600 and comes in at $50 higher especially if you go with an after market cooler. So you are basically getting a free upgrade to the 3600x. But since the benchmarks barely shows a difference (especially since the 3600x doesn't turbo any higher than the 3600 in actual testing), it would be better if you could get this deal for $400 with a 3600. With that said the 3600x does at least have the better cooler sooo if that's worth it go for it.

I agree. $50 premium is not worth it

Totally agree, 3600 is the way to go. Literally every tech tuber said the same thing. Ryzen has pretty much always been that way with the X skus. They're so easy to OC.

I went from a 1600 to a 3700X on my ITX. This isn't the best deal IMO as the X570 boards are priced a bit high and the 3600X is a wash vs it's cheaper and equally capable counterpart.

This ASROCK board in particular, although I like the thunderbolt inclusion, the VRMs aren't as beefy as the Gigabyte offering and in addition they decided to use an LGA (Intel) mounting solution for cooling, so keep that in mind when mounting a cooler.
