Ships and sold by Amazon. $0.01 more than lowest price ever according to camel camel camel.

Available for less from a 3rd party seller, but I suggest purchasing directly from Amazon to be sure the battery is authentic.

I believe you will have to do some modification to either the battery or the tool, but electrically it's the same.

Thank OP! Interestingly, no 'no rush' option is available, even though it is shipped and sold by amazon. Maybe it is some change to their system where you can no longer select 'no rush' shipping when the item is backordered? either way, great deal!!

This looks like my hypertough battery (Walmart brand). Anyone know if it works on those tools?

Great deal, thanks mxriddler! And yes, as a big B&D 20V fan I've successfully modified PC batteries to work in my B&D tools and charger, and yes they still work in the PC tools. Just takes a couple of minutes with a Dremel type tool, as shown in the videos.

I suspect this deal will get lots of crapping from tool snobs (who swear by only yellow tools), lol.

If modified for a B&D would you be able to charge with the B&D charger? 4.0ah PC vs 1.5ah for a B&D battery.

Not sure if this helps any, but I use the same PC charger for my 1.5ah battery as I do for my 4.0ah. Per the videos I posted a few comments ago, it appears the B&D can charge on PC chargers. Not sure the other way around, but I would assume? The PC chargers are not that $$ either in case you need to use one. But I imagine it would work both ways. I hope that helps!

I couldn't resist and ordered 2 Down. I got the PC impact driver, PC drill, PC brad nailer, BD Circular shaw (Mod to use the same battery), BD Trimmer, PC reciprocating saw, PC LED light, PC sander, 7 1.3am batteries, and two chargers. I think I am a little obsess with these tools.

They are amazing! I have the Drill, sawzall, triangle sander, flashlight, circular saw, and Jigsaw. I have never owned the yellow tools, but from what I can tell, these work great and the batteries last forever. I also have the bigger black charger which is much nicer to use vs the cheapo charger they ship w/ the tools. I think I read somewhere that PC was part of Dewalt somehow , or an offshoot. I may be wrong, but for what I need them for, they work great

Hmm so these would work in Black and Decker. How about DeWalt? I heard they have the same parent company.

Has anyone checked to see if these work on the new craftsmen tool that they are being replaced by at Lowes?
