Just get a bluetooth trasmitter and plug into your tv audio output.
Problem solved for Xbox, PS4, and switch.
No need to buy this nonsense.

paid ad or not, it seems decent. $150 new

They seem to connect via USB, would they work on a PC?

I have a set of wired RIGs and they've been very good to me. Mildly interested in these.

That is a better solution for game audio, or at least much cheaper. The useful thing about this configuration is that the microphone can be used for voice chat in games. That alone would be the only use case where this is a better solution.

Bought the Xbox version (is there a difference? I don't know) a couple of weeks ago for $99 new, I like them. The plug in receiver thing makes things pretty easy, although I only used on pc so far. Personally I couldn't go for a refurb headset, it if it doesn't bother you though seems like a good deal.

Your post was about 5 and a half hours after the deal was posted. I saw this thread when it was a couple hours old and I was the one who gave it it's first vote.

These are awesome. I have them for Xbox. Not sure about these but being refurbished will prob need a license for atmos. I believe it's $25. These aren't worth it unless you activate the Atmos abilities. Just FYI because there will be an extra cost to get the most out of these.

These won't come with a Dolby Atmos code. That is $15 extra. https://www.dolby.com/us/en/apps/...-xbox.html

The PlayStation 4 does not support Dolby Atmos actually, so getting these is pointless, but the Xbox version is still great, at least from my experience with two of the wired models.

Bluetooth A2DP audio introduces delay. Something like 200ms. That's why gaming consoles don't use bluetooth for audio and even PC headsets designed for gaming use dongles instead of bluetooth.

You can try to get a bluetooth adapter that supports aptx low latency but then your options for headphones that specifically support aptx low latency is very limited.

Thanks, I was wondering if there were any reason to get that for pc. Good to know.
