Normally, with quadcopters, I'd take those 1star reviews with a grain of salt but... holy crap. They're pretty much all either 1. It flew away with no response to the remote, or, 2. The batteries won't charge. Those are some pretty disappointing odds, especially from Syma.

That aside, I wouldn't buy it, based solely on the fact that it uses proprietary batteries. I can't stand it when manufacturers pull that BS.

Most of the bad reviews are a year old or more. Maybe they updated it since then?
