I agree. I was about to post it and then saw your post.

They were $49, direct from Ecobee, if you bought one of their thermostats. I bought a thermo from my Utiltiy Co, to get a rebate, Ecobee shipped it. I contacted Ecobee to see if I could get the add-on price ... and they said, 'No'.

The only reason I have not bought one ... is the lack of Dimming. My house is very Smart and I have very few light switches, but the ones I have need a Dimmer (except, my closet?)

I did ask why they do not have a Dimmer, and they told me Dimmers produce heat, and would screw up the sensor.

Does anyone know if Alexa Drop In works with this switch?

EDIT: Nevermind. Reading from the questions that it isn't supported

I've been waiting on buying these because they still have not yet enabled the temperature sensor in them that they promised a long time ago. I think they are already having issues with them producing too much heat and messing with the temperature sensor in them. I'm taking a chance by buying three of them that they eventually figure it out.

I have 6 of these in total when they were $80-100 each and I love them. They still haven't figured out the temp sensor and they occasionally go offline but a simple restart gets them up and running. I've had 1 replaced and support was super quick.

Need to reboot your Switch+? No problem. Follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the main button for 5 seconds.

2. Wait for the voice prompt to say "Restart device."

3. Press the main button again.

Your Switch+ should then restart and be back to normal.

Would this work on a 2 way light? I have 2 switches connected in the kitchen. 1 is the dimmer and other is just a regular switch. I would like to replace the regular switch one.

Nvm. I guess that is called a 3 way light and this doesn't work with that i guess Frown

The switch itself was just an on/off switch. But the other switch connected was a dimmer. Don't know if that matters.

It was actually cheaper ($41.99) but my post got downvoted because a few people didn't have the coupon:

Where are you guys putting these? My house is semi open with weird locations of my light switch. Ex: My kitchen switch is in my living room. I'm thinking foyer and maybe the bathroom.
