I've seen the nest hello on here for $170 recently, so yeah, not that great of a deal imho.

I searched the forum and I did not find any thumbs-up deals for the Nest Hello at $170. Feel free to post it, but the only one I found got a lot of thumbs down at BH photo. I agree that there are plenty of discounts on the Hub (though no lower than $59).

Home Depot is a more reliable seller than most and they have a 90-day return policy, so that matters for some people as well.

Thanks! I've been waiting for something on the nest hello since the Prime Day deal at $199 (which I missed because I was in the mountains without service). Been debating on the hub or not since I'd prefer something wall mounted, but this sealed it for me.

Costco had nest hello with 6 month sub for 169 in July. When searching, be sure hide expired deals is unchecked. I found that is the case for my recent searches

Is the nest hello better than the ring? I'm sick of the delay in ring and always saying activating camera...anyone have any experience with both?

Only thing I noticed from all reviews.. nest has less of a delay and subscription is needed for keeping videos more than 3 hrs and most of the features are part of subscription. If u plan to have another stand alone camera recording locally then nest is the way to go.

Hello is much better all-round. I've used both.

I currently have a lorex 4k system around most my house but none of them make a doorbell to integrate... SO i was going to suffer a little while more until found a good hardwired camera one to integrate...maybe a $99 dollar deal will come up

How do you like your Lorex system? I was eyeballing this one https://www.costco.com/Lorex-16-C...01739.html at Costco. I had also bought the Ring 2 doorbell, but am now questioning that decision based on what people have said. I may still just set it up to see how I like it.

My Ring Doorbell crapped out. Even though I didn't want to pay the 229, the Hub was an added caveat to purchase since I needed another doorbell stat.
