Select customize.
1. Select ''NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB GDDR6 (OC Ready)" with $0
2. Select "Alienware 850 Watt Power Supply with High Performance Liquid Cooling" with $49
3. Select "Multi-Media Keyboard" and "Optical Mouse MS116AW" with $0
4. Click "Add to Cart"
5. Apply coupon "LCS10OFF" for $10% off

Other optional add-on:
+$22 for killer 1650 wifi 6 ax Bluetooth 5 card.
+$90 for 9700K if you want some OC potential.
+$180 for RTX 2080 Super (OC) for better performance.

Make sure $200 Visa gift card also added to cart: "Receive a $200 Promo Visa® Prepaid Card. Terms & Conditions Apply*"

You'll see final price is $1411 + tax
Shipping is free and you can sweeten the deal with expedited shipping with Dell rewards program also get 3% cashback from it too.

PS: If you have Amex card, you may also eligible for 10% off offer.

I'd say it's a lot better than previous FP deal of similar spec but with RTX 2080 non-super of $1600 after $200 sd rebate.

The current spec is about the same performance (RTX 2070 super vs RTX 2080) for $450 less: $1211 ($200 visa GC value added) and without hassle of mail in rebate.

And if you elect to 9700k + RTX 2080 super, it ends up with $1475 ($200 visa GC value added) marginal better graphic with $150 less.

My raw estimation on this:

i7- 9700 $330
RTX 2070 Super $500
850W power + CPU liquid Cooling $100
16G DDR4 $80
1Tb Nvme SSD $100
Z370 Motherboard with Wifi/Bluetooth $100
Case, Keyboard, Mouse $100
Windows 10 Home $60
$200 Visa GC

Total $1570

And you can make more from some cb sites/amex offers.
e.g:

AA shopping portal: [aadvantageeshopping.com] 4x AA miles + 2000 miles if you buy more than $500. 1 AA mile valued at 1.6 cents
Amex blue cash biz card two offer stacked:
10% off Dell purchase.
1x extra Dell + normal 2x MR = total 3xMR, 1MR valued at 1.6 cents

$1433 as configured(w/ liquid cooling, killer 1650 wifi 6).

AA portal : 2000 + 5732 = 7732 AA miles = $124
Amex card: 4299 MR = $69
Dell reward cb 3%: $43
Dell visa GC: $200
Amex 10%: $143

Total cashback: $579
Final: 1433 - 579 = $854 + tax.

I'd call it slick dealsApplause

I think it's a pretty decent deal, but it might not quite expandable because it's using irregular motherboard. You can find some photos and review here: https://www.tomsguide.com/us/alie...-6239.html

The 9700k and 2080 super config for 1500 is nice. Paypal/Discover for another 5% off as well.

Is this a good deal? I've always built my own PCs but I've been floating the idea of buying a pre-built one next time around and have always had an interest in Alienware..

Finicky with adding ram, at least on our r7 build. Had to scrap the installed ram. Couldn't run 4-8gb sticks, even if we could... we couldn't find the details of latency and such, it looked as if this ram is made specifically for dell so you have to buy through them and pay huge money. So we scrapped the ram bought new. reading reviews only select ram would post. Maybe this one has a different m/b but dell is very stingy. The machine is a year old now with 2 16gb sticks of ballistix sport 2666. We get posted speeds but we were limited to basically settle for this. Happy with the machine but Alienware has dell try to own you with your purchase.

I must admit that I was confused as to why I would pay $49 to liquid cool a PSU until I read in the thread that it is actually for the CPU which makes more sense.

Not sure why Dell words it the way they do.
