This is basically normal price, every time I look the snoo is on the same sale. We bought this but are returning it and snoo has been difficult about the process. Far from hassle-free. The snoo, ironically, is more annoying than a crying baby when it turns on, so I couldn't see any value in it over just having the baby wake me up instead.

We've got one for.our newborn, and we love it so far, 2 weeks in. Baby mama gave me a lot of s##t for buying a thousand dollar crib, but she's really liking it. We were determined to return it within the month, if it didn't work out, but it seems to be working out for us. It helps us put the baby to sleep easier and helps him maintain sleep. It is also extremely safe, because baby is anchored on his back. I also like the app, because it helps us with keeping track of how much he slept, when did he eat (usually when we picked him up last) and so on. Ultimately, I see they go for 6-650 on Facebook marketplace. I figured if we use it for 6 months and sell it for 600, we'd essentially have had used it for $250, which I think is peanuts for a calmer baby sleeping a bit more through the night and having a peace of mind.

Their support is not good. They do not read through questions and send canned responses about things you didn't really ask about, but the product itself is fine, at least for us.

Got one of these last time they were on sale because a) our friends said it worked wonders, b) 30 day return period and c) resale prices on local Craigslist were high enough that it wouldn't cost me much even if I did keep.

I'm timed delivery to be near out due date to maximize the 30 day window. We're almost at day 30 now and we couldn't imagine living without it.

I really wanted to dislike it. It's expensive. And I'd recommend the pack of extra sheets/SNOO sacks. So it's more expensive.

But it works. I could see it being child dependent, but for ours, it works. And works well. She falls asleep faster after feeding and stays asleep longer (we have to wake her to feed her, not the other way around). Sure we can calm her without it, but in the middle of the night, it's so nice to finish feeding, and put her in it so we can get back to sleep quicker.

Happy to answer any questions.

We have one also and it works wonders. Primarily got it for the SIDS prevention and the fixed swaddle sacs but the rocking has put our baby to sleep easily. My wife got a discount while at the AAP peds conference and I believe it was $735. Seems like Dr. Harvey Karp who is the founder of the SNOO and a pediatrician frequently has professional discounts available if you attend big conferences.

I suspect it's largely just baby-dependent. Our baby falls asleep quickly after feeding and only wakes up when she's hungry, so we got lucky there. What I didn't like about the Snoo, however, was that once she started fussing awake, the snoo's increasingly-louder alarms are more annoying (to me, at least), than a fussing baby. It never actually put her back to sleep but rather served as an obnoxious alarm instead.

I did like the swaddle that locks them into a safe position, but that alone wasn't worth the ~$900+ paid. We're trying to return it now and Snoo keeps giving us run-around suggestions like "put tape over the speaker" (no joke) instead of just acknowledging that we want to send it back.

I bought this and my baby did NOT love it. We kept using it because of the SIDS prevention and ended up selling it for $750. It wasn't the panacea that social media led me to believe.

We also bought one, but our baby didn't like it as he liked to sleep with his hands by his head. It looks very nice, but in the end we couldn't justify the cost as it didn't do much for us besides being a very nice looking crib.

Been using it for the last 3 months and baby is sleeping through the night, so totally worth it for us. Once we are done with it can probably sell it for at least $700, so not too bad when purchased on sale.

FYI - it's very hidden, but you can actually swaddle them with their hands free. There are buttons around the shoulder so the arms can be outside the sack. Most use them to slowly wean them off the Snoo (one arm free then 2), but you could obviously leave arms free at any time.

Oh and my one annoyance with this - it doesn't decrease the calming level quick enough once the baby is calm. Can manually decrease it on the app tho so not a huge deal, but as mentioned above, the level 3 and 4 calming is quite loud for the parents.

I jumped on the wagon over the July sale and snapped it up right after our infant was born. If your wife is a light sleeper, stay away. We initially tried to cancel the shipment but they delayed it and shipped nonetheless, and even sending us an email claiming to send a refund. I never saw the refund, and decided to try it one day. Lugged the monster thing up 4 flights of stays on a torn meniscus, set it up and it worked. But we also found out that the white noise stays on all night. My wife is a light sleeper and hated it. It did work however. We anxiously watched as our new born kept crying more and more and the Snoo stepped up the levels. Eventually she fell asleep. There is no way to lower the volume however. Anyway.... We tried it only twice and returned it. Customer service for us was pretty helpful considering they botched our initial cancelation request. I have a poor man's work-around for this. Get a crib that rocks and a large UE Boom speaker. It works just as well... And I'm $900+ (tax included) richer.

If you're on the fence, I highly recommend this. The Snoo was life changing for us. Before we got it, our daughter was waking up every 3 hours. The first night she slept in it, she slept for 10 hours straight. We actually got worried and ended up waking her up. She's 6 months now and almost outgrown it Frown

As far as deals go, this is a common promotion, but still worth every penny. I would wait until Black Friday if you can. Last year's BF deal was the best deal of the year (I believe it was $750).
