Came here to say this. Just google "poach eggs microwave".

People put eggs in a mug cup and then fill it w/ water. Microwave for 1 minute (YMMV based on how much water and strength of your microwave)

I personally use a large bowl so the egg is flatter. A bowl requires more water, so an extra minute in the microwave. I stick it in the microwave prior to preparing coffee so the extra time doesn't matter. When it's done, I then just get a ladle, drain the water and scoop out the egg.

If you don't have enough water the yolk will explode...so better to err on more water and add more time than to clean out the microwave.

This allows you to avoid plastics and have 1 less random crap in your kitchen,

Is it plastic?
I have silicon bake wear that feels like rubber, but can go in microwave or oven.

This is specifically designed for microwave. Regular plastic gets destroyed (melts or bends with heat) over time if microwaved but this thing stays intact. I am not fond of microwaving eggs as they taste worse, using this greatly reduces the time and effort spent on a fast paced morning routine.

I don't have this exact product, but I have a similar single egg microwave cooker. I picked it up new in the package for 50¢ at a yard sale. I didn't have high expectations, but I was surprised at how well it worked. It mostly steams the egg. The egg does not come out rubbery and doesn't taste odd. Put a little olive oil in it before cracking the egg to eliminate sticking and make cleanup easier.

Add a sausage patty, a slice of cheese and wrap it up in a toasted English muffin. Mmm!

I've got this one... Read the instructions... It's specific around how much water to add if cooking one or two eggs.

As some reviews have pointed out, I did have an eggspolsion in my microwave and egg went everywhere (even after following directions). Not sure what the issue was but it took me some experimenting to get it right.
