That's not true. Think it depends on the dog. My dog has had one since he was a puppy and lays on this over his donut bed.

My dog loves it, too. He's a husky.

We've had them for years, the dogs use them all the time...

Mine used to ignore it as well until I put a 2" thick cooling mat on it. Now they use it all the time.

This may be a very specific post, but it's actually what I'm going to use it for so I thought I'd point it out. Ppl with dogs that have backend paralysis, and therefore urinary incontinence, this is possibly a great bed. Build/attach stuff on the sides and back so that the pet won't fall or try to jump off (and possibly doing more damage). Put a plastic tray underneath to catch the urine. This bed is easily washed. And the urnine falls down to the tray. And then the dog isn't in a bellyband or diaper all night...or sleeping in their potty til you notice. Therefore reducing some risk of infection that can ultimately either be really bad or even fatal.

I have these exact beds for both of my dogs and they love these beds.
My English loves scratching himself all over it, I'm surprised he hasn't ripped through it.
Easy to assemble and they've lasted for a while now.
Here's a pic of my English Bulldog and my Frenchie on their own beds
Frenchie has a medium and the English has the large.
I could have gone down a size on both because they are pretty big, but sometimes they share a bed so its cute, lol.

Do they make something similar for people ? Feels like this would be a great way to relax in the backyard during a summer evening
