I bought these as uplights for my Phillips Hue bulbs. They look great - the top of the bulb just shows over the rim of the top so the light spreads nicely. Pretty hefty too and surpisingly small so easy to hide behind things. Seemed like a good discount and way cheaper than it's ever been on Amazon per CCC.

Ha, I came here to post about using them with Hue bulbs too. You can put one on either side of your TV and emulate the functionality of a Hue Go or Hue Bloom. It's a great way to use bulbs that you already have, but I wouldn't buy new bulbs just for this since a Hue Go or Hue Bloom can be found for ~$50 these days.

Agreed. I have spare bulbs. I'm thinking these will look good behind things; especially things in the corner.
