LG.. brings back my memories of G3. Super good looking phone with leather back, awesome camera but phone bit dust with bootloop.

I was looking. When I get fed up with this phone, I will either get that or Pixel4. I'm hoping another year out of this phone.

Pixels are great. I always get them when they come out, but then am disappointed by something. Ram management, battery always sucks.

Total BS statement.
Not BS. I had a V10, it bootlooped. I'll don't think I'll buy LG again.

Had a LG G4 that was pretty nice, then boot looped and they did nothing about it. Now I advise all of my friends to look Elsewhere. Good thing about LG is how quickly they depreciate in four months this will be like $299

I had a G4, V30 and now a G7. Not one phone is reliable. I LOVED my G4 before it and the replacement phone bootlooped. If I wasn't so cheap, I would move on from LG. I can't stand curved glass and Samsung only uses it. My G7 doesn't although the V30 did.

Bootloop hasnt been an issue after that. I had a V20 for 2.5 years and it was fine. Right now I'm using the V40 on problem as well.

My dad had the G5 and it didnt bootloop either over 2.5 years, although I heard some unlucky people had that issue.

The only phones that had it bad was the G4 and the V10, which LG repaired.

I wonder if the I nEeD mY HeaDpHoNe JaCk people will jump ship to LG since it's pretty much the last manufacturer that is releasing the Jack on their flagships.... this seems solid and if it can recapture it's glory days of the G2, then this can be a great deal.

1.5 years in and I love my V30. No issues and it hasn't turned into a slug like my past Samsung phones (and tablet). I'd recommend and buy again, but still waiting on a good reason.
Same here. I bought mine the first day it was available on Verizon. Love it. Never had a problem with it. Audio is amazing on my JBL s700 Synchros and my Monoprice Planars..

amazingingly specced phone which gets totally overlooked overlooked, google is still asking 800$ for their pixel 3 which is bunk in comparison spec/spec.

I have owned this phone for a few months now and love it. Fast, awesome camera, especially the wide angle, display, the sound quality with headphones, and the overall size of the device is nice. Fingerprint reader is fast as well as the face unlock. Really enjoying this phone. Hoping it doesn't get hit with that bootloop I heard about in older LGs.

Must...resist...urge...to troll...the trolls.... shake head

I've always been a little skeptical of LG, generally speaking. They've won me over with phones, tho. The G2 was the best phone I've ever owned (compared to other phones of its time), so...after I extended the life of the phone by rooting it and installing CM...I went for the G4 when it came out. At that time, I couldn't turn a corner without seeing someone else with a G4. Eventually, I had a friend who pushed me over to the V series, and I got a V30 (because LG apparently has two flagship series). This is also one of the best phones I've ever had, and I've had iPhones, a Samsung, and even (shudder)...an HTC.EEK!

LG's top-of-the-line strategy is pretty clear: take a chunk out of Samsung's market by offering comparable or better hardware for a cheaper price, though in a (usually) not-nearly-as-sexy-looking phone.

Because this is such a good deal for top of the line hardware (although it doesn't have a 4000 mah battery, only 3500), I jumped on it.
