having just delivered 80 pounds of cat litter (40-pound bags x 2) to my house two days ago, I'm sure my mailman will be thrilled when he brings up the 75-pound box of this Canon printer.

Amazon switched to 100% USPS delivery for my town since the beginning of 2018... which has created a mess around here

No duplex scanning on this model. The MF743Cdw and MF644Cdw do have duplex scanning.

True laser printing is apparent by the high usage wattage. But only 600 x 600 print resolution.

Both MF743/MF733 versions upgrade from MF741/MF733 to support dual-sided scanning (and fax!)

I can't figure out the real diff between MF741 vs MF731 .
I suspect (based on MSRP) that the diffs are cosmetic and @andrec8513's link for MF733 would be the best option--still 600x600 though.

My 10 years old HP 3600n Laser just give out. Debating if I should get the Epson ECO tank at Cost or get this. I don't print that much my concern with the ECO tank is the ink drying up. The size of the Canon is big.

@Bokingwen, please do your best to stay away from ECO tank printers at least the Epson ET-3750. It is so slow.

My colleague called in to get couple presentations to print out, from his place to my office range about 26 minutes, still printing 15 pages left when they got to the office. Horribly slow. (2×50 page presentations)
Color are decent.

Prior to this I was using Xerox Phaser 6500DN. Super awesome, amazing color. Quite fast even fast enough double sided printing. (19ppm) (Currently trying to fix the black toner, not printing black dark enough, is about 10 years old)

I might return this ECO tank back to Costco and wait for the HP to go on sale in early September.

If you don't care about your time, this will be ideal for you.
Easy to setup, mobile wireless printing easy to setup.
