Ordered the guitar on 8/30 and now I am trying to fill out the rebate form but it doesn't let me select 8/30 there. Should I just send the guitar back?

There is a link on the OP for the older rebate form. If you are having troubles locating it, please email us at rebates@slickdeals.net and we will send you the link.

I got the rebate approved within 30 days of purchase. When they mail the guitar is when they email the "invoice" that is needed to submit along with the rebate claim form. Really simple process as long as you click directly from SD's link. Also, there's nothing that would prevent you from printing the 2 forms twice and mailing then in a few days apart. This may not be ideal for the rebate company, but could save you the cost of certified mail ~$5.

I got the parlor size, it's a smaller body but full scale (travel is larger body but condensed scale). The sound is a little brighter than a concert sized guitar but when you play through an amp you can adjust the bass and it sounds like a full size guitar. The case is sufficient to keep the guitar protected. The built in amp think also acts as a tuner, telling you which note you are playing and how to adjust to get in tune.

All I'm waiting for now is the visa card to come in the mail which may be 8 weeks.

Do I need to cut off the bar code from the box and attached to the rebate form? Also do I need to sign the rebate form? There is no place for signatures.

No, UPC barcode cut out and signature are not required. Just your printed rebate form and invoice.

isn't the address for rebates to a PO box? Someone from SD should pick the mail up from USPS; not the po box.

Will you please email us your rebate tracking number? The address on the rebate form is correct, so not sure why USPS was not able to deliver your mail. All mail goes to the rebate processing center's PO box.

I have sent an email. I got a call from the local USPS delivery staffed in El Paso and was told that the recipient refused the package.

Is your PO Box full and therefore packages can't be sent?

All mail goes to the rebate processing center and not us. However, there were no issues with any other mail being delivered. Did you add signature confirmation to it? I'm wondering if that was the issue since there was no one to sign. There should be a reason marked on the envelope once you receive your letter back. In any case, we have accepted your documents over the email and approved your rebate.
