All drives fail. Everything needs to be backed up. And I don't think ADATA or Samsung manufacture SD cards. So it's difficult to make assumptions about quality also every batch is different.

That being said I do think name brand companies tend to seek out high quality cards because they have a reputation that allows them to charge more. But I think ADATA is in this same group. I can't imagine the reliability of a samsung card to be much better than a ADATA card. And just because you had an ADATA card fail doesn't make all of them bad. The only sd card I can recall failing on me was a high end samsung card. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy more samsung cards in the future.

I would stay neutral for this. I had one 3 months ago and suddenly the micro SD failed days ago. RMA is not stressful but would like to have a more stable micro SD.

This is the cheapest I've seen a 128GB go for. With that said, when you're talking about what you'd use a card with this much capacity for (phone storage, DSLR, etc.) I'd probably just spend the extra few dollars and get a Samsung or high end Sandisk.

Great to see the prices keep dropping though.

Not well, for anything mission critical get a better card. These can and do fail without warning.

To be honest, I haven't had an ADATA card failed on me yet, and I have a couple. The only card that has failed on me was a Patriot but that might have been partly my fault. Sandisk and Samsung tend to be better rated but YMMV.

The only cards I have had fail were all Patriots. I had 3 fail, were replaced under warranty, but of course lost the data. No more Patriot cards for me...
