This is nice if you need individual units however, the Costco deal (3 for $80) is better!

Those things are HUGE and unsightly next to standalone smoke and CO detectors. If you don't have a good place to mount out of sight you should consider alternatives.

Check if your local code doesn't require wired smoke/co combo units. There is a reason these and some other battery only detectors are on sale every other day.

NY now requires hardwired as of April 1st... except if the system is wireless. I think these will still meet code, anyone know otherwise?
