SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 5700 XT $409.99 Newegg

This is not really a deal, but, for most of the people who wants 5700 XT, this is the first AIB RX 5700 XT available on the market right now.

Comparing to the reference card, there is almost no performance gain. The extra $10 is for the cooler, which runs significant cooler and quieter than the reference card.

Also, newegg has the RX 5700 for $359.99 (link here [newegg.com]).

I have a 1080p 144hz monitor. I'm planning on getting a Ryzen 3600. Would a 5700 or 5700XT be better for that resolution?

Currently a Dell Inspiron 7577 gaming laptop that a family member will most likely buy from me. It has an i5-7300, and GTX 1060 Max-Q card in it.

XT is a fair bit faster. Worth it IMO. Userbenchmarks clocks it at 18% faster effective speed than the 5700 for a $50 reference / $60 Pulse premium. Buy the Pulse for the better cooler.

Xt is definitely worth it, but at some lower settings maybe not.

144Hz isn't "lower settings". Smilie

Depends on the game and the quality settings. But generally speaking, the 5700 +3600 is probably good enough for 1080p 144hz and high quality.

The 5700 XT is about 15% to 20% more powerful for $50 more.

That's hardly pushing a 5700 regardless of xt

One is. XT gives headroom for upgrade, not to mention facilitating the performance tax of high settings in GPU-intensive games.

XT gives more robust performance(both now and over time) and better upgrade potential (in case they later decide to run two or three displays or upgrade to 4k @ 144Hz).

I agree 100%, I will be getting the xt. But I believe his question is he will notice marginally if anything at all. But yes headroom and future is worth the $50

Sold out already. Hmmm I'm really tempted on this card, it got good reviews from gamernexus.
I'm wondering if I should wait for some kind of game bundle deal.
