It's not much but better than nothing, a couple of sites are offering 6% to HP.com purchases.

Just remember to upgrade the keyboard if you want rgb - this configuration is for red backlit. This is from what I have read on the forums regarding red legend vs white legend. HP really should make it clearer.

They dont offer the rgb option anymore in hp.com for this model, just red like the pic and white for +$20. I agree with your comment that it should be clearer.

Can you please list those sites. I'm looking for a discount on a HP laptop

Slickdeals will block them, but do a query in your search engine for cash back site comparison. That'll lead you where you need to be.

Worth reading about Max-Q if you don't know the difference

It feels like a better deal to get the RTX2060. With the i7 9750H and the 2060 combined with the 10% off coupon I have a total of 1115.99 in the cart which seems like a pretty good deal for a decent gaming laptop.

According to Notebook check the 2060 actually outperforms the 2070 Max-Q by 13% on average, on the handful of benchmarks that the 2070 Max-Q is superior it is not by much.

I have a feeling those buying gaming laptops now to game will be shooting themselves in the foot compared to black Friday season prices... Now that the tariff increases are suspended until about next year

Some people will always "wait" for next gen or deals when it comes to technology. Far better approach is this: do you need it now? Is it in line with what you want & your price point?

Ignore hypotheticals if those match your CURRENT needs.
