Did all that. Went to the very end, to "place order". It is not carried in my local store, so I suppose that's the reason.
Sorry to hear that

Educating myself about enzymes https://healthfully.com/laundry-d...61620.html

The proteins "eat" odor and stain-causing bacteria, a feat normally accomplished with synthetic, chemical cleansers. These catalytic proteins are featured in a number of laundry detergents, their inclusion designed to make cleaning easier and more environmentally friendly.

Tide
Not every type of Tide brand detergent contains enzymes. Tide's original liquid formula contains three enzymes, as stated by the website of the manufacturer, Proctor and Gamble. Tide Original contains protease, amaylase and mannanase enzymes. Among the other varieties of Tide that contain enzymes are Tide Pure Essentials and Tide Stain Release, both of which contain protease and amylase enzymes. It's worth noting that only the powdered version of the stain release formula of Tide contains these enzymes -- they are not listed on the ingredients list for the liquid version provided by Proctor and Gamble. Because enzymes dissolve bacteria that cause odor and stains, it is possible to wash the laundry at lower temperatures than one might normally. Tide Liquid Coldwater laundry detergent contains four enzymes designed for this purpose: protease, amylase, mannanase and pectinase. Conversely, the powdered version of Tide Coldwater does not contain any enzymes, as per the manufacturer's ingredients listing.

Kroger has it for $1.99 in their mega sale with a $1 off coupon in the digital account. Also have $1 tide simply coupons Kroger sent via mail. 3 bottles for $2.97, I'll take it.

This actually worked out well for me in SC. "Clipped" the coupon and picked up 3 bottles. Big savings for 66 loads of laundry. I didn't notice any limits in my store. I suppose I could have purchased all of them.

good stuff
Yea, if good is the same thing is worthless crap....

In all honesty, a simple "google search" will tell you all you need to know about this stuff, and WHY it's so damn cheap!

Long story short, it's affordable because the ingredients blend is MISSING the most effective stain cleaners/fighters.....hence the cheap-ass price! I fell for it initially because of the "TIDE LABEL" and of course dirt cheap price tag!! But, SOON figured out why my results with pretty much EVERYTHING I washed it with would come out as one big disappointment! The smallest/weakest of stains failed to come out, yet one more wash later with regular ole' tide!

End of story.....
