As much as this company annoys me, if they go out of business because we as gamers will lose out. Heck, yesterday I found out that I was trade banned after trying to upgrade my Switch and corporate is investigating why as their is no easy way to figure out what caused it... Some hidden undisclosed limit that defeats the purpose of a paid rewards membership... Currently you can get $225 for a Switch trade in. Best Buy is offering $120. Upgrade your Switch at GameStop soon before we lose our last decent trade option!!!

I wonder how long Gamestop will be around.

The digital revolution is really hurting them. I prefer physical discs still but even I can't remember when the last time I shopped at gamestop was (they're too expensive)
Digital isnt hurting them. They only have sales during BF . Rest if the year no reason to shop their to buy MSRP games when BB and Amazon are cheaper.

Does anyone know if: A) Gamestop sells PSN Cards, and B) If you could trade in some games and then use store credit to buy a PSN Card?

Seems with this deal (+$5) they are matching what BestBuy gives. Better off going to BestBuy since you can preorder games and get $10 back. That's just my opinion.
While you might be right. Gamestop releases games at 9pmPMT or 12ET. I dont think Bestbuy does that.

With so many frequent digital sales in both PlayStation and XBox I've given up buying physical. There is not much of an incentive in buying physical. All games drop down to $20 digital in a few months. And with frequent 20% gift card sales they actually cost $16. By that time trade in values are a dollar or so. So the financial incentive to buy physical has eroded pretty fast. Unless you have bandwidth caps, digital is more convenient, and you don't need to hoard discs in the house.

The only caveat is if you play and trade in brand new games. Or maybe in case if Nintendo games, which remain expensive. The fact that Microsoft released a disc-less console is a sure sign that digital market has grown significantly. With so many customers slowly moving to digital, GameStop core audience is shrinking fast, and it's possible they won't be around in a few years.
All new digital games drop to 20 bucks within months? Lol. What? The ability to trade in/sell games is a major reason I like physical.

Is the $5 bonus reflected already online for their estimates, or do I add $5 to what ever they have listed online?

Example: pokemon Alpha Sapphire is $12. Do I now add $5 or is it just $12.

Best Buy has GCU (for those who still have it at least).

I would guess you have to add it on top as some of the trade in values are $2. Therefore mathematically the $5 cannot be already added In

I was in GS the other day & they still had 3 $9.99 titles for $15 and I picked up Shadow of War, RoTT and Bayonetta (360).

Bayonetta is $2 trade in = $7
SoW is $2 trade in = $7
RoTR is also $2 = $7

So for the stuff I bought literally 2 days ago for $13.50 + tax (Pro member) they'll now pay me $21 for?

Edit: Is it $21 + 10% because I'm a Pro Member?
