Advice needed on LED book light

I just bought this rechargeable LED book light:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079DKTQVS

It's a good light, with 3 temperate choices each with 3 brightness levels, with very high ratings and positive reviews. The only problem is that the base, which you clip onto the book, is rather thick, unavoidably since it contains the LiOn battery that powers the LEDs along with the unit's circuitry. But when I attach it to a book it creates this annoying bump, especially with soft-cover books. Plus the flexible gooseneck is just a tad too short, especially with larger books.

What I think would better serve my needs would be a unit with a slightly longer gooseneck whose base consisted of just a thin (but sturdy) clip, and a MicroUSB jack into which you'd plug in a thin DC power cord that's attached to some USB power supply, be it a wall adapter or power bank. This way the base isn't as obtrusive and you can use any of your existing USB power supplies, of which most here have quite a few by now.

Anyone know of such a thing?

I used to use that but I find under the covers it gets too dark to read; so I got this one instead. Much brighter now:

My wife went through a bunch of different lights trying to find one that worked for her. She tried some little battery ones from Barnes and Noble and several iterations of USB ones but was never happy.

She finally ended up with something that attached to the headboard so that the wires weren't in the way and she didn't have to worry about charging it or changing batteries.
