$550 plus $150 Dell gift card does not equal $400 in my opinion. If it was a normal gift card that didn't expire, then sure.

Don't be fooled by the local dimming whining, this TV is amazing fit the price. I also own the 55" version and they are amazing TV's, even as your primary TV.

To put this into perspective I have the Samsung 82" 4k as well, and paid $3200 for it.

This 65" Vizio while having way less local dimming zones than the Samsung, looks darn good with xbox one x and Netflix.

I can easily recommend without hesitation.

The $400 Hisense 65" that pops up at BBY every couple of weeks is a better deal if you can get free shipping

This tv has horrible local dimming and overall brightness. Worth it to spend a couple hundred more for a better tv, unless you just want a bigger TV for a dark room.

I'm about to pull the trigger on this for a display in a small conference room. $549 - 10% (Amex Offer) - $100 (Amex Plat Credit) - 4% CB from a top website puts it around $375 pre-tax before the $150 gift card (for whatever you value that at). Plus $16 back for the Dell Advantage. Not too bad overall even if quality isn't the best.

For a conf room, it seems like a nice deal. Looking for something better for my dad

What's the Amex plat credit? Ugh couldn't find an Amex offer on my card except for double points

If you have a Platinum Business card, twice a year you get $100 credit to Dell. Sorry for confusion whether it was on the Personal or Biz version.
