I was looking for a set of Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady P195/65R15) tires and this is the best I could find with installation. The key is to use the 10% off code MAPQUEST10 or UPS10 in addition to the MIR.

Set of 4 tires: $122 * 4 = $488
+ installation (mount+balance $14*4 + TPMS kit $5*4) = $76
+ tax and fees (disposal $8, waste $3.20, sales tax $28.04) = $39.24 (YMMV depending on state)
+ YETI 20oz Rambler (until 8/15) = Free
- instant 10% code off tire purchase (cose UPS10) = -48.80
- tire rebate = $100
- bonus rebate on tires if use Goodyear credit card = $100 (YMMV)
- installation rebate if use Goodyear credit card = $25 (YMMV)

total (w MIR) = $290.20 + 39.24 tax = $329.44 ($82.36 / tire)

---
YMMV with other Goodyear tires / sizes, or if you do not use a Goodyear credit card, since the rebate amount is less.

FYI: The goodyear credit card is issued by CITI bank.

The ups10 code works for all tires - 10 percent off. Thanks

Thanks! Do you have any experience with these tires as I have been interested in getting them for my Passat?

I had previously used Goodyear assurance comfortred on a different car and liked it. Handles well, Not noisy and last. Read on tire rack that these are supposedly newer and better. I think the warranty for the weather ready is 60k as opposed to 80k on the comfortred, because it should have better grip. I had to replace the tires due to rubber age rather than mileage so the warranty differential is less of a concern for me.

OP, thanks for posting. good year takes paypal, so Discovers 5% paypal cashback is a good add-on to make it sweeter for those wary of messing with their credit scores.

Bought these the end of July so got $200 rebate (missed out on add'l $25 that started 8/1). These are great tires, maybe the best made for passenger/SUV. The $200 rebate came in less than two weeks!

Good tires. Spent a lot of time researching new tires for my Ford Escape and ended up with these. Very happy with them.

How'd you get $100 rebate? Its showing $40 rebate for four tires for me.

Different tires come with different amounts. For example assurance comfortreds only get you 60 or 120 dollars rebates. Also to get the bonus rebate one would need to use Goodyear credit card which you can apply and get the account number right away.

These are excellent tires. They're technically "all-weather" and have 3PMSF certification and therefore offer much better winter/snow performance than standard all-seasons.
