I always thought AMDs were crap. What is this equivalent to with Intel? i3 atleast? Also is the screen good enough not to hurt eyes while working long hours?
Maybe a notch below 7th gen.. maybe on par with 6th gen

If you're going to be looking at a screen for long hours I'd suggest splurging on a laptop that's not in this price range.

Not playable even in low. Recommend i3 8th gen or ryzen 3 minimum. Maybe pentium n5000 or 7th gen i3 but not recommended.

Fortnite isnt the most demanding game out there but its still not realistically playable with integrated graphics. And yes ive tried.

Find any slickdeal laptop with at least gtx 1050 or gtx 1050ti or rx560 graphics card or better.

I'm trying to learn Python, should I buy this or one of those $100 thinkpads I see on eBay that's refurbished?

This not Ryzen series Processor but based on old Carrizo architecture. The performance is less than 4 years old Intel Celeron N3700 which has 6 Watt TDP and does not require a Fan for cooling. And gaming...ha ha....This is one of the worst and least powerful processors available in the market which AMD is trying to clear out. Even opening multiple Chrome Tab and some word documents will cripple it down to its knees.
Currently AMD is using these processors for cheap Chromebooks but some manufacturers are trying to use them in Windows computer. If you buy this, it will be complete waste of your money as it cannot even perform daily tasks apart from very moderate web browsing and documentation.
There are plenty of deals available with slightly higher price but far better Processor, look for them.
Check the below deal which has far superior processor and costs lest: -

Don't buy this. There are some models with i3 7th Gen around $230 to $250 bucks. Get those if you're in very short in budget.

Thank you. I did go on that Lenovo deal that you posted the link of. I used to have a Celeron and it was the worst thing ever. I'll look for some i3 or something and or wait for a deal. Thank you.

This is not the same Celeron you are referring. This is a Dual Core i3 with Hyperthreading disabled and having a 15W TDP, not the 6 Watt like the old Passively cooled model. The performance is similar to a 5th or 6th generation i3. However, I would recommend to spend a bit extra and buy something with 8th Gen i3 or new Ryzen 3200 based one.
