For some reason, the most expensive coolers always seem to contain the cheapest beers.

I guess that makes sense, actually. Once you've bought a Bentley, you can only afford fill it up with grocery store-brand 85 octane.

I also agree. 8 cans is such an odd number. You have 6 packs and 12 packs. With a 6 pack you're short 2. With a 12 pack you're short 4.
It's more of a lunchbox... not a drinking person's cooler.

Seems cheap compared to my wife's purse, and holds no beer, but expensive compared to my fridge that cost $400.

No idea why people pay $100+ for a fanny pack. I'll wait for RTIC to make one for a quarter of the price.

They're "8 can" because they can hold 6 cans and ice packs. If it was a "6 can" cooler you'd have nowhere for ice. Same deal with 20 can ones, it is 12 + ice.

Got my yeti 8 with the woot/amazon deal last time and I love it. Trash talk yeti all you want but it's a quality product and worth it at this price.

How can anyone conceivably pay $139 for an 8 can cooler? This is the monster cable of coolers for sure
If this cooler has a limited lifetime warranty like monster cable cables then it's legit also haha

Just because it works and of good quality, doesn't make it a good price. Slickdeals is about good deals and great values. These are an absolute joke when it comes to pricing.

I can't believe the 3 year warranty on a $150+ cooler.

I love the people saying this isn't for beer/drinks but more for lunchbox..

#1. they measure their unit based on how many cans it holds for a damn reason.
#2 As a person who packs my lunch for work, I do it to save money.... this product screams a lot of things, but "save money" isn't one of them.

Go watch comparison videos between high end YETI vs much cheaper product. The Yeti never wins.

With all this said, my entire life spent with packed lunches, I've never once had an issue keeping my food at the proper temperature. For camping, I use a 60 qt igloo that lasts many days with us opening and closing the lid all day. It can be found at Sam's club for $30-40. It has a telescopic handle, drain port, and wheels. No way one of these is worth 4 of those. 4 day ice retention is awesome when camping.

You can't even really find that cooler anymore. I have it and mine hasn't been that great. It's good for the price when it was on clearance before they stopped making it though. Think I paid under $30 with the colsters.
they switch up designs pretty often. they are back to an oval shape. i have both ozark trail coolers in the video. the rectangular one is better, but compared to the cost of the yeti, i'd go with ozark trail 10 times out of 10.

Say what you want, but I've broken zippers on two different Ozark Trails and busted the weld on one other. Then I bought a Hopper 30. If you're using them for car trips, OT is fine. If they're going to get banged and beat up, they won't cut it. I stayed away from RTIC because the zippers are similar.

I haven't had a lick of trouble out of my Hopper 30. Just picked up a Flip 8 (missed it last time).
