just pour a 1/4c of vinegar or bleach into toliet...scrub, done.
takes about 10-20sec and much cheaper
Can any others validate whether this is true?

Martha says so.

Honestly, sometimes I only use a brush with no cleaner and it seems about the same. I think these toilet bowl cleaners are a bit of a gimmick. I don't think they even had toilet bowl cleaners when I was a kid. We used Comet powder. I think they were just something the cleaner companies put out to make money.

This particular brand has worked better than any other product I have tried in the past. Really gets the nasty stains out.

99¢ at Safeway stores (Tom Thumb, Albertsons, Randalls, etc.) There are coupons floating around to get them even cheaper.

Not sure how it compares to The Works that I normally get for $1 at Dollar Tree (higher at Home Depot). That stuff is amazing. Especially if you ever get that orange stuff in any of your toilets. But I definitely grabbed a few of the ones at the Safeway stores since they are bigger bottles and I know the brand.

LOL, absolutely. If it's bad, let it sit a while. I don't measure, just pour some in and let it sit. Or do a vinegar/dawn mix.

Isn't that 8oz?

Have you tried the Dollar General brand for $1?

No, The Works is a 24oz bottle Applause
And they sell a tub/shower cleaner in a 16oz bottle, which I don't find all that great and the bottle doesn't last very long. Better off just using a spray bottle with your own cheap mix (vinegar or bleach mix).

I haven't tried the Dollar General brand toilet bowl cleaner that I can remember. If I have it's been so long. Once I discovered The Works, I stuck with it. And if I'm out I just use vinegar and whatever else (depending if it's for inside bowl, or seat).

Do you recommend drinking it instead?
Maybe he prefers to use it as an enema. Nip it in the "butt," so to speak.

Which is better: Lysol Power (this) or Lysol Lime & Rust (the black bottle)?

Lysol Lime & Rust is the ONLY thing that removes my hard water stains. I have tried them all. Works well on a fiberglass shower too. Just hold your breath.
