Definitely some mixed reviews on these... The magnets sound handy but apparently the only measurements are painted on and come off after some washing. Also there's no 2/3 or 3/4 cup, which is pretty standard and useful.

I have the cups and I'm pretty sure the measurements are printed on, not painted. A little rust on some of the magnets. I hand wash them only. Ive has them for one year now.

There are photos on Amazon showing the printing coming off... Would've been smarter if they imprinted it into the metal.

I have used several sets that don't come with the 2/3 or 3/4 cup sizes since it reduces the clutter when you have those sizes when you can easily dump and measure more.

Yeah those people are throwing them in the dishwasher and I don't even know how you get a measuring cup to look that awful.

I've had these for 2 years now and I have no rust or etching going away. I've only hand washed them. I highly recommend them

I got these cups&spoons a while back to supplement my Kitchenaid set where the welded handle came off of a cup and my 1T/15ml went down the garbage disposal.

My OXO pros&cons - Pros=all 1 piece and handles aren't welded on. Seem really sturdy like i could dig into something much harder than what made my Kitchenaids bend Cons=no holes to hang on a hook like my prior set and does not include the ml conversion along with the standard measurements. Indifferent=magnets for me were a gimmick; not strong enough to keep spoons together with what i'm putting them through bouncing around my junk/utensil drawer. I never opened the cups because i never found a place to put them; still have my old ones hanging from a hook. I'm just not sure that magnets on nesting cups really adds any value unless they're getting laid down or bumped around. If the stack is sitting upright, i'm imagining it would keep them neatly in line, although unnecessary for myself.

The ML on my old set have come in handy for me, mostly if i need to multiply a recipe. Or if i'm lazy and don't want to wash one. Now i'm googling a converter if i want to check something like teaspoon to tablespoon, whereas my old set was easy to eyeball it and know how many times 5ml goes into 15ml. Or if i'm "one and a halfing" a recipe that calls for a tablespoon; i'd be doing 2 conversions to know to use 1.5 teaspoons to equal a half tablespoon.

For me, the ml's were important enough that i just ordered the all clad version of this set for $40 from william sonoma, after 20% coupon the other day, even though i never opened my oxo cups. Only ever used the oxo tablespoon, but i just checked and the 1T is still painted on strong. Well shit, now that i'm thinking of it, i wonder if the "15ml" just wore off mine??? (Just kidding.... Hoping for everyone's Oxo's to hold up as good as mine!)
