I feel like box fans are superior in every way as long as it can fit in the window

Good price, I got a "used" one from Amazon for $20. I use my fan with Alexa to exhaust heat from my garage ceiling during the day. The difference is noticable so long as I have it on 30 minutes before I enter the garage.

It sound s like a good idea. Can you explain more detail how is this being done?
Where do you put the fan at? At top of the garage door?
Thanks

There's a vent built above my garage door but it's not effective without the assistance of a fan. I was going to put a 20 inch box fan but it was too big for the allotted space. I put this fan instead and it's held in place with bungee cords.

I connected the cord to wemo and the wemo discovered by Alexa. I named it"fan" on wemo and told Alexa to discover new devices. so I can tell Alexa to turn on fan or use the wemo app to turn it on.

Amazon has price matched. I'd previously purchased these from Amazon and was hoping they'd go on sale again because I need 2 more.

Dont get fooled by "manual reverse" in product description. While it indicates there might be, but there is no manual switch to reverse the direction of fan (and therefore the air flow). You'd still need to pull the fan out the window turn it around and fix it back to reverse the ari flow. Only good side is, there is switch in either side so you wont be reaching outside the window to turn it on once reversed.

Dang that's deceiving. Thanks for pointing that out. Probably breaks this deal for me
