Photos of my HD egiftcards have always scanned without issue in store. Have been doing it successfully for years. Just make sure the picture includes both the barcode and PIN.

I love Lowes, they seem to be the underdog trying to keep a monopoly from becoming a reality but Home Depot at the end of the day ultimately gets my money 9 times out of 10 simply due to them carrying a greater quantity of superior brands, especially with tools.

Was kinda leery about using a company I never heard of to get GC's ... but I am always shopping at Home Depot and 10% helps. Used PayPal (so they do not have my info) and went through fine. Just waiting for GC's; which they claimed could take 24hrs.

Discover Card has 5% this month when using PayPal. Make sure it's activated on your account.

They just called me to confirm I bought them. Once I did, they were in my mailbox within a couple minutes

Yeah. Problem is the 10% is on the wrong side of the equation. It's nicer when it's a 10% discount.

The thing about Lowe's is that their military discount stacks with gift card discount. Home Depot only gives a veteran discount on special holidays. The only people who get a year-round discount are active duty or career-retired veterans.

cool, thanks. I bought the max that was allowed, not bad when you're already shopping there.
