It takes you 4 hours to mow your lawn? That would still be 3 hours with a common 21" mower, so I'd spring for a tractor if I had an acre or more. Electric mowers are neat but a 14" wide mower, yikes!
Heads up to anyone looking at this: the Craftsman V60 mowers are on clearance at most Lowe's, push or self-propelled, and listed on SD. With $20 off coupon for $1 from ebay they're mostly under $200 (depends on local store), and are 21" wide. You might find a push version at around $150, with a lot more power in addition to the 50% wider cutting path.

Takes me over 4hrs to use the similar plug in 16" to mow my lawn. Just way way too small.

My Sun Joe plug in isn't very strong either. Many places I have to slow my pace down.

My replacement gas mower is stronger so I can keep the pace and it takes about 2hrs.

Anyway, for $140 I'd go with gas. Got my electric plug in mower for I think $70 and it's not even worth that.

24 Volt is way too less power for a lawn mower. I have 40V from another brand and sometimes I wish it had more power.

My husqvarna battery lawn mower. Thumbs down. Very small yard & gets clogged easily. Not thinking battery lawn mower ready for prime time

Not sure what the issues here are; works great for me and the medium sized 'patch' I call a lawn. Cant speak to the other named brand in here, never used it.

I got the greenworks 21" 60v self propelled deal ($160), and its just as powerful, if not more powerful, than my $150 gas mower.

They aren't even listed any more on Lowes.com but I just saw at least 6 of the self-propelled mower yesterday. Last week when I checked Brickseek it looked like about half the stores in NE Ohio had a few and prices varied by store.

Just saying, the V60 mowers are quite powerful (I have a pretty nice gas mower too and don't think I'll be using it much anymore), and definitely worth $150-$200 for the efficiency and quietness, in my opinion.
