"We're not saying don't use these brands, we're just telling pet owners to work directly with their veterinarians because we're still investigating," Lindsay Haake, a spokesperson for the FDA, said.

Its almost as if people can't even read the articles anymore, Grab headline and run.

the article is from over a month ago so not sure why you think its linked to this sale but the brand is mentioned... at the bottom of the list with nearly the fewest reports linked to it.

FDA is providing an update on its ongoing investigation into reports of dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs eating certain diets. @FDAanimalhealth is sharing new data, updated stats, & a compilation of adverse reports of DCM submitted to FDA: https://go.usa.gov/xyYpp

Obviously, it is an issue if the FDA reported on it and still is reporting on it as Updated on June 27, 2019. if you have the option to buy food that is not on said list why wouldn't you?

Ordered two of the canned cat food, qualifying me for free shipping. The 40% was applied after free shipping was granted.

We switched from Blue Buffalo (grain-free) to Wellness for our puppy after looking into the grain-free issues. It's definitely worth a read and some personal researching for anyone else who cares about their pet, but yes as mentioned above, the issue is mainly with grain-free variants.
