this great TV now comes to sub $2000 era! Hope to see this go even lower during holiday season

Call customer service and keep asking for that person's supervisor. Be adament you want to speak with them and don't settle for a call-back. Eventually they will honor a repair or you'll get transferred to the Alabama office where they will honor a repair. It took me a couple weeks but eventually my C7 got fixed for a bad control board and I had owned it for 16 months at that point.

Lowest price I've seen on this set. No tax for CA makes it even more slick. Some users have 10% eBay bucks promo on their accounts w cap of $100 making this essentially $1899.

I have the C8 and it's an amazing tv but sadly with a 14 foot viewing distance the 65 inch just doesn't cut it for me and will be going back to Costco. Hoping prices for the 77 inch drop soon!

Omg I'm on the same boat. I originally thought 65" would be enough but since we have an open floorplan of living/kitchen/dining, I need to be able to view the tv from well over 14 ft distance.

Never buy an LG TV again. OLED is amazing but their warranty is trasssshhhh. I purchase C8 in October 2018. Panel blew on me. LG refuses to honor the warranty because it was manufactured in June 2018. According to LG, their warranty is based on when the tv leaves the assembly line. Not when I buy it. I now have a brick on my wall for 80 more days until Costco warranty kicks in. LG is a joke.

Tell them to show you where it says the warranty terms on paper and in plain text make them prove and eat their own words of what they're saying and if they can't prove that then you can sue them deceptive practices

LOL what? For starters I'm very confident that is patently illegal and runs afoul of several state and federal laws regarding warranties. If they really told you that, I would email a few attorneys with the details and and see if any would be willing to take it on a contingency. That is almost assuredly highly illegal and LG would immediately settle for a brand new TV and attorneys fees once they filed a discovery for the notes/recordings of your calls/emails. Excepting that, contacting Costco corporate would also solve this right away. You should have a warranty slip with your manual/remote bag that clearly says 1 year from the date of purchase.

They told Costco the same thing. Costco is the one who told me to wait 80 days for their warranty to kick in. But their hands are tied until manufacturer warranty runs out on their end.
