I love Alienware, but this is a terrible deal. Outdated CPU and way outdated GTX 1070 for 1200+ is NOT a good price at all. The recent Lenovo deal wipes the floor with this

The 1070 OC in this is a beast and will hit 19K on firestrike. The screen is also really nice.

When it's in the passenger seat, my car thinks a human is sitting next to me and won't stop dinging until I buckle it up. Safety first.

This is a 1070 oc and the screen is a 17" 1440p 120hz, not a shitty 15" 1080p.

OK, but RTX 2060 real world benches perform better, 9750h runs way cooler than 8750h especially in that dated R5 chasis. Also that 1440p screen has mediocre color accuracy, terrible viewing angles and visible banding. The only thing going for it is the 120hz w/ Gsync. Here is the source:

In any case I can also also attest because I have had this model for quite some time which I've ended upgrading the screen itself for being imo shitty

1660ti performs basically the same and uses only 80 watts to do it making it a lot more battery efficient and the laptop a lot lighter.

There have been deals for 1660 ti with 60hz for $585 (todays dell deal). 1660ti maxq with 120hz go for $900. Rtx 2060 with 144hz go for $1050. Rtx 2070 with 144hz go for around this price or little more.

Move along everyone. Much better deals already posted and prices have been dropping and will continue to drop

And yes i do know gpu and refresh rate isnt everything but that makes my point even stronger. Current gen laptops deals are cheaper and better overall than this deal

Lol.. last generation CPU and GPU and still charging over $1200, how is this even a deal?

For it to be a deal it needs to be at least $200 less, preferably $300!

Keep looking guys, THIS IS NOT A DEAL!

Umm no. A mobile RTX 2060 will hit about 15.5K in firestrike. The 1070 OC in this Dell with do 19K.

Firestrike can be manipulated, its a benchmark that can be optimized for.
