This is two generations old. I'd have a hard time paying $250 for it.

This processor still puts out a respectable PassMark score.
16GB of RAM is the sweet spot for almost everyone.
1TB is fine as well for most people, but an SSD is what's expected now a days.
A discrete graphics card gives this a step up for every day use, but is not great for gaming.

This is a good deal for the price, period.
Adding an SSD would make this a perfect for everyday people who are not trying to game on it.
I've been even looking at a comparable spec system with a 256GB SSD and it's hard to find in this price range even as a refurb.
