Was hoping some of the high end 2060's would drop in price with the Supers out now, but haven't seen any spectacular deals. In for one of these 2070's for just 20-30 bucks more than the 2060s I was originally looking at.

I have reference model. So I will give you my thoughts on it since it's almost the same except for the Temps. I undervolt my card. And Temps I get are more ~60 - 70. But the main concern for all rx 5700 xt right now are the drivers. I do have a lot of driver issues at the moment. But I have patience and I like to mess with settings. So all this driver problems are keeping me from plug and play. I do get flickering of screen. But fixed it. I did get micro stutter. But fixed it. Or still trying to fix it. But I seriously think the card is still great even though it has a lot of driver issues.

So if you don't want to have any headaches right now... Just go for this 2070. I went from a 100% working gtx1080 and I still don't regret it. It is still better then my 1080

This one has a USB-c out which may come in handy in certain situations. I have a monitor with KVM switch and it requires at least one of the connections to be a USB-C.

The RTX 2070 was $390 a month ago, shouldn't the price be going down, not up? Top rated comment of that thread 37 to 1 was people agreeing with the sentiment that these cards should be dropped even below $390 since the RTX 2060 Super is pretty much in line with the RTX 2070 [anandtech.com], why not get a 2060 Super at $399 with no rebates to mess with? Or better yet get a 2060 Super w/a rebate which will likely happen very soon.

If you feel like you need the extra 2-3fps that a OC card will give you, this card is still cheaper than the 2070.

Ordered yesterday and UPS dropped it off this morning, got it installed and couldn't be happier.

One thing to note, this is a BIG card. It fits in my NZXT H500 but just barely with the radiator and fan in the front. It is also pretty wide. This is the first PC I have built in the last decade and didn't realize how big these cards are now.

Debated about this one for a while but decided to order. The 2060 Super does appear to be nearly equivalent but I'm guessing that deals on those might not happen until Black Friday. I considered the new 5700 or 5700XT but I just don't want to to deal with instability/driver issues. I was looking for 60fps@1440p and the 2070 should handle that. Other things I helped me make the purchase was the 185 watt power rating/recommended 550 watt power supply and the 3 year warranty. It should last a few years for my uses.
