Does Xfinity Comcast still allow this one to be used on their networks?

I just looked it up and where I am, Xfinity doesn't have this modem on the approved device list.

It's an 8x4 modem, I would avoid this deal. At the very minimum now 16 downstream channels is recommended.

I'm using an Arris modem with my Xfinity network, so this should also work.

You won't, Fiber Optic ISPs don't generally have retail "modems"

I know, man. But in my area, only Frontier have Fios 500/500 so I don't have too much choice.
