Fake discount imo. Compared to the rest of the memory for laptops/notebooks.

CAS Latency 19? Pass. I'd rather pay $13 more for Hyperx Impact.

If you have a computer in front of you its better to search yourself. Most of the 2666 ram i see in the app is priced around $3.75 per gig. Not looking for you to challenge me. Just trying to inform others to do a little research before splurging on this "deal".

This is for a 2x8 instead of 1x16. Nevertheless, I'll echo what everyone is saying - this is not a slickdeal by any means. This is the current market price.

Are there ever any deals on single 8GB RAM sticks nowadays?
Have only one open slot, other one is soldered.
TIA

Yes it it won't work at 2666 natively in most laptop because they use xmp and the speed is not native. I know because I got caught

Makes Facebook and Word load on my laptop much faster. Going from CAS 19 to CAS 16 was a life changer for me.

You talk like its not worth spending hours tinkering with manual timings to get that extra 2 FPS in Call of Duty.
