This deal is back at Woot. Similar to previous FP deal (although that was titled as refurb instead of used, but same "good" condition it appears)

1st gen Amazon Echo for $29.99. Condition is "Used - Good" on all. Free S/H w/ Prime. I needed another Echo and these sound way nicer than any of the echo dots IMO

Nice deal

I dont usually like to buy used but speakers dont have a bunch of moving parts so theres a good chance it will last a long time. Worse comes to worst amazon is easy return

I agree. Much better than buying dots

I purchased one of these back in November from Woot! And it looked brand new. Still working great as of today.

I have two of these, from different times this deal has been offered. They work great, no complaints. I think they sound great too, especially given the price (I'm not an audiophile by any means). Both Echos looked brand new as well.

Same here! The microphone doesn't pick up as well as the newer gen. However, I like how the speakers bump. Great bass.

Bought this from woot from the last deal, having the same issue many are having with the audio cutting out and having to unplug it each time to reset it. Great sound but just be aware of this common issue with refurbs.

I have an original in my LR, and a second gen show in my kitchen. The show wins even if I am closer to the original, unless I am WAY closer.

I have it in a group with 2 gen 3's. Basically use it as a sub. Works great.

I like getting these used so that it really confuses China when they try to merge your personal conversations

We could be echo-chambering, but I had this same issue with my refurb from Woot. My unit looked brand-new. The issue didn't immediately manifest itself after purchase unfortunately. Definitely seemed like a software issue since it would work fine immediately after a restart. Even restarting it twice a day with a smart plug didn't help. However, if you get lucky and don't see the issue, the device sounds great and would be a good deal.

Does the Prime card give 5% back on Woot, or no?

Bought a second of these for my other nightstand in the bedroom since I realized they can be used that way for stereo audio. Now if the Echo Subwoofer will go on a good sale...
