Making better informed decisions when it comes to financing helps...but earning more money is pretty important too. These guides usually give advice on everything but how to secure a higher paying job...

Dave Ramsey always makes it sound like owning a new car or a nice house is a stupid move and that you can easily save money....at the same time, he earns way more than I do annually so I can't trust his situation. I purchase new cars when their dealer incentives and used car markups (due to higher MSRP that was incentivised) makes buying used a worse deal.....yet a car lasts me 10-15+ years.

Just saying, all of these guides have advice that should be considered, but everyone should often look at their spending and earnings and decide what they could improve on.

Are you rich?
How much $ is rich? It's different for everyone. I used to think if you were a millionaire that you were rich but with a safe withdrawal rate of 4-5% in retirement that's only 40-50k income. So what's the number? 6-figures income annually? Seven-figures? Not if you spend it all, you definitely won't feel rich.

Building wealth is about making more, spending less, and accumulation over time. I think it would be extremely difficult to find anyone that would say they are rich. Usually the more you have the more you spend so that target is always moving and you will never be satisfied. So I think being rich is more mental than physical. Having peace and happiness and purpose rather than stacks of cash.

But good luck to everyone! I hope you all get rich...whatever that means to you Smilie

The audio sample sounds like the audiobooks were read by a computer. For less than a dollar, I can't complain.
This kinda wrecks the deal for me though. Having a good reader makes all the difference to me in being able to pay attention to an audio book. Makes me wonder if I could make any money recording myself reading these public domain books and selling them for a buck more than these type of content-mill operations.

I just listened to the audio sample, and it seems to be a decent human reading though. That's a good sign...
