Never heard of this site before but they have an 89% rating on Google Shopping, so copped.

I used to them several years back. They have had decent stuff and never had any issues with delivery or service.

Agreed. I have a colossal SteelBook collection, including nearly the entire MCU, but nobody is going to come along and offer me more than I paid for my collection.

However, to be fair, it is a "collector's item" in the sense that I collect them because I like them more than plastic cases.

I don't own many of the DC Universe in SteelBook. They just aren't good enough movies, Wonder Woman included. The price for this is nice, if it was a better movie.
The Webster's definition of collectors item is something that will increase in value over time . My comment was directed at the use of this term in the advertising. You buy these because they have value to you, which is totally fine.

Got this 4k disc for i think 12 bucks on sale last year. And no,, blue ray discs no matter how steelbooked, are not collectors items.
Wonder Woman 4K+Bluray was $9.99 at Best Buy on Black Friday. I assume these are the same discs, so this is $12 more for a steelbook case. That might be worth it to some people, but I'm one of the few who won't pay extra for a steelbook case.

Omg i over paid by 2 bucks lol. Agree, i am all over 4k br at 10 to gasp 15 bucks,, 35 bucks is just crazy, the market value of 4k physical media is 10 to 15 dollars.

$2 isn't a big deal to overpay. I wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of the 4Ks I paid $8-$10 last BF sell for $6-$8 this BF. When I first started 4K, I overpaid ($15-$20) on a handful, but since then I wised up and haven't paid over $10 for a long time. Many times the Bluray will be $4-$7 ($6 being very common) so I have to ask myself how much I like the movie and how much better the audio/video is on the 4K if it's worth the extra cost over the Bluray. I also refuse to upgrade most of my Blurays to 4K until 4Ks are near $5 each, if that ever happens. I would've said yes it will happen a couple years ago, but seeing how physical media is dying in stores and being made in smaller quantities and sold at higher prices, I'm no longer sure if enough 4Ks will be made to make it to $5 bins or even to Dollar Tree someday.

So $10 is the point at which I will buy many but not all 4Ks I don't already own on Bluray. I might go up to $15 on ones I really like (like John Wick 3). These super high new release prices keep me from buying new releases which is fine by me.

Lies.

From mirriam-webster.com: collector's item [noun] an item whose rarity or excellence makes it especially worth collecting

There are a number of Steelbooks, especially MCU steelbooks (mostly the first release ones and not so much the rereleases that have come out this year), that are considered rare and go for higher than MSRP.

Daily steals is a good and legit site. Actually been around for along time and was really popular with me like 4/5 years ago. They changed their app style and I kind of fell off with it but I still purchase things from them from time to time. Shipping is pretty fast too.

This is why I love Slickdeals (besides the Deals) - great conversation. Good input, folks. Thanks!

In case you wanted to see it, here is the MCU stack. I need Hulk, Guardians, Any-Man, and Doc Strange in SteelBook to consider it complete.
