I have been using the virtuoso to make bread for years now. It's a solid dual-blade bread maker. Highly recommended

Save $220 (that's a lot of bread) and make bread the normal way.

Get this [amazon.com]book.

Never understood the point of a bread machine until we got one for Xmas one year. We have this brand and it has been great.

I don't know anything about these fancy bread machines, but for normal bread machines, the most important thing is that you have to TAKE THE BREAD OUT right after it's done and put it on a drying rack. It will be much better that way. Absolutely do not let it sit in the bread machine.

Yes, very much a legit company. They've had several deals on here and have a retail store in Brooklyn.

I own this and it is surprisingly good. It bakes an amazing array of different breads and uses a horizontal loaf pan unlike most other bread makers that have the vertical pans.

I used to bake my own bread using a kitchen aid mixer to do the grunt work, but the bread maker saves me a lot of time, hassle, and minimizes cleanup.

Also you can make doughs, cakes, rice, jam, and even mochi in this! It's not documented but i figured it out watching mochi machine videos.
